bueno , yo tengo los 2 disco lo compre en paraguay en 1998 increible hasta hoy dia lo tengo en muy buen estado muy bien cuidado ,me gusta mucho lo considero una joya un tesoro …buenisimo trabajo.

Up until now I really thought I was the only person in the world that knew these CD’s existed!
I purchased Mix 2 in about 1999 from a local music store here in Port Elizabeth (South Africa). I then realised that another CD must exist, but my enquiries all resulted in dead ends.
In April last year I visited family in Belgium and Holland and I enquired about theses CD’s at every music store I came across, with no luck.
Mostly blank stares from the shop assistants!
You are quite right in your blog - these are probably the best 80’s mixes one will find.
I note that the cover of Mix 1 seems to be a different style to that of Mix 2. Have a look at the attachment I have sent - this is an alternative cover I found which is more along the lines of Mix 2.
Interestingly, from the cover it seems that this Mix may have originally been done by Abbot and Costello (Crazy Edits Records?) - is it possible that the rights to Mix 1 may have been bought by Alt Musique Productions who then continued with Mix 2?”
My answer to the last part:
“Regarding the alternative cover: I am not quite convinced that the
original mix is by Abbot/Costello (which is definitely a pseudonym).
But I faintly remember having seen the cover before when I got my
first tape copy of it - so it is probably as you said: the mix has
been licensed (or bootlegged). I will mention your find on my blog as soon as I find the time.”

Hey hace años buscaba estos mixes lo escuhce en la radio aya por el año 1995 me encanto a la primera de ahy perdi el rastro y despues de 15 años los encuentro nuevamente , muchas gracias por compartir tamaña joya amigo …

Exelente!!!
Escuche el Vol. 1 en un programa radial llamado “retro-mania” (1997), en una estación local de La Paz. Lo tuve grabado en un formato cassett, sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo y el frecuete uso, pasó a mejor vida.
Es una muy buena noticia encontrar esta pieza de arte en formato digital.
